The Use Of Space

This teaser is featuring Hugo Rocha, a fixed gear rider from Porto, Portugal. Covered with cobblestones and hills, Porto is definitly not the place to ride a bike without brakes, still Hugo is commuting with his bike every day. The final project “The use of Space” is going to be architecture Master Thesis – about how to use urban space, with bikes, skateboards or just simple with your body. The use of space is pointing out several possibilities how to define the use of public spaces and buildings. A variety of worldwide examples should show how public spaces change due to the influences of human interaction. The project will specially highlight the aspects of urban sport trends and their special use of space.
